Once again, I am sitting in a noisy gymnasium experiencing mind-numbing boredom. I am trying my best to be productive, but my brain just doesn’t want to be. I have emails to send and schedules to make, but the sounds of these basketballs are just echoing within my skull and blocking all of my other thoughts. I’m not even hearing these words in my head before I type them out, so I’m going to be just as surprised as the rest of you when I read this back. On top of that, Mr. Handsome is here, which is very detrimental to the writing process because it is very distracting. He’s hanging out with his best friend (who also happens to be my best friend) and teaching some kids how to play basketball against a trash can. Not sure which school has trash cans for basketball players, but I would love to watch that game 😀
Last night, I got approximately three hours of sleep and it is really getting to me right now. I guess it’s kind of been getting to me all day because I accidentally put on two different shoes and got all the way to work before I noticed. Granted, they look almost identical and I was in a hurry, but the height of the heel is slightly different and it’s really throwing off my balance as I walk. If I fall down in this gym in front of all of these people, you will never see my beautiful face ever again. I will vanish and you all will miss me forever. So, everyone say a little prayer that I stay upright. I’m also blaming my lack of sleep for the fact that I forgot my rings today. Most of these rings are new and I am still getting used to wearing them, so I’ve been forgetting them everywhere and normally don’t even realize that they’re gone. However, today I left behind my most prized possession: my turquoise ring. I have worn this ring every day for the past five years, and I feel vulnerable and exposed without it. What is a girl supposed to fidget with when she’s feeling anxious in situations that should not induce anxiety in the slightest? I wish I knew. From now on, I will be aiming to get 12 hours of sleep every night so that I am never in this situation again.
One of these basketball players just asked for my Instagram. I think he must have been reading this blog as I was writing it and wanted to learn more. Either that or he thought that I was very handsome. I did give him my information, but I’m going to let you all vote on whether I should accept the follow request or not. He seemed just a little bit nervous which was very sweet, so I am leaning towards yes. Everyone comment their vote from the following options:

- B: Accept the request and send him the song Sneakernight by Vanessa Hudgens.
- C: Accept the request and act like a completely normal person.
- D: Deny the request.

I may even say something nice to you first just to keep things interesting! I hope everyone has had a beautiful day and experienced genuine joy.
