Dawg with a Blawg

Hello wonderful people, and welcome back to my Blawg! I know that it has been a while since I last posted and I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for that. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for you all to not have my incredible thoughts to turn to throughout the day. Fear not though, I am back. I’ve had an insanely busy couple of weeks, and while I don’t think that things are going to slow down until the end of the month, I am going to try to blog at least every other day so that my loyal subscribers can stay up to date on the happenings of my very interesting life. I’ve jotted a few things down over the past 11 days, and instead of fully summarizing what they’re all about, I will just provide you with my list of notes and no further context. I feel that you will have a much more accurate snapshot of my brain this way.

• Had a caterpillar class with an eye patched Ali
• I’m going to be that old lady dancing in front of the stage some day.
• Monte the Tree
• “I’m an adult, and you can’t make me NOT cry. You’re all a bunch of bullies, and I will say I’m sorry however I want. And by the way… I’m not SORRY👹” -The Dean (I watched the entire Community series embarrassingly fast)
• Was told that I write like Dork Diaries and my life is making a lot more sense now
• Long handled fishing net hot dog catcher (invention/idea)
• Nobody wins afraid of losing.
• “Where did my vision board go?!?!?!“

I know that I wrote more down in a notebook somewhere, but I can’t find it at the moment, and I also can’t really remember what notebook I wrote everything in. This won’t be a problem moving forward though, thanks to my new Blournal™️ (Blog Journal)! Sweet Sheccid gifted me the most beautiful journal to use for my blog content (Blontent?) so now I can keep all of my thoughts in one place. Also, sharing my blog has never been easier thanks to the business cards that Morgan made for me! Everyone feel free to take a few and hand them out! And by “feel free”, I mean that you have to or I am going to block you.

Something really exciting and amazing happened this weekend that I want to share with everyone. My big sister, Harper, planned an entire country music festival and executed it so perfectly! It was such an incredible event, and I am once again in awe of the way that she is able to do literally anything that she wants. She just knows how to do everything, and I’m so beyond impressed by her. It was so fun to watch everyone at work come together to support her, and watch the community come together to sing and dance and share such a joyful experience with each other. She put so much time and energy into it and I’m so happy that it turned out so well. I’ve even started enjoying some country music because of this event, which might be the most impressive result of the whole thing. Those cowboys actually sing some pretty sweet stuff.

Life is crazy and life is busy and I worked thirteen days in a row and am truly exhausted, but how incredibly lucky am I to spend that time with friends, family and coworkers that make it all so enjoyable. Everything from the past two weeks is blending together and I cannot separate the days in my mind. But I know that I spent most days laughing and having fun, and spent most nights listening to someone rattle off insurance facts while they were wearing three watches and three pairs of glasses. All of the information that they were sharing with me is blurring together with the lyrics of the terrible LeBron James song that they were singing to me as I was falling asleep. It definitely made for some confusing dreams.

I just remembered that I tried to do a handstand last night and completely wiped out. I really want to be able to do one so I will keep trying. If you don’t hear from me for a while, maybe check in and make sure that I am okay, because it is a real possibility that I go through a wall while attempting this. If anyone has any advice on this subject, please share it with me!
